Unlike older ceramic heaters used by other manufacturers, JJSPA halogen heaters do not cause a burning sensation on the skin, and each of the three wavelengths – NIR, MIR or FIR – provides numerous benefits for your health.

NIR

NIR or Near Infrared is the shortest wavelength that delivers energy to cells with rays with a wavelength of 800-1400 nm.

These rays reach just below the surface of the dermis, so they have numerous benefits for skin conditions. They promote wound healing, regenerate cells and thus accelerate tissue growth. They also alleviate various inflammations, improve the condition of wrinkles and stimulate collagen synthesis.

MIR

MIR or Middle Infrared produces IR rays with a wavelength of 1400 – 3000 nm. The rays are longer than NIR rays, so they penetrate deeper into the skin.

With temperatures up to 65 °C, the infrared sauna is also suitable for those who cannot stand the high temperatures of a traditional Finnish sauna.
