Full spectrum heaters

Infrared light is the invisible light of the solar spectrum that we experience as heat.

The latest halogen heaters of the JJSPA JIO120A infrared sauna produce full spectrum IR rays that penetrate deepest into the tissue.

Unlike older ceramic heaters used by other manufacturers, JJSPA halogen heaters do not cause a burning sensation on the skin, and each of the three wavelengths – NIR, MIR or FIR – provides numerous health benefits.

NIR

MIR

FIR

Interior of an infrared sauna with ceramic heaters and a wooden bench.

NIR

Wave icon representing near-infrared (NIR) radiation.

NIR or Near Infrared is the shortest wavelength that delivers energy to cells with photons of a wavelength of 800–1400 nm.

These rays reach just below the surface of the dermis, so they have numerous benefits for skin conditions. They promote wound healing, regenerate cells and thus accelerate tissue growth. They also alleviate various inflammations, improve the condition of wrinkles, and stimulate collagen synthesis.

MIR

Icon of medium-length waves representing mid-infrared (MIR) radiation.

MIR or Middle Infrared produces IR rays with a wavelength of 1400–3000 nm. The rays are longer than NIR rays, so they penetrate deeper under the skin.

They penetrate soft tissues and help with inflammation and pain. They accelerate blood circulation, thus cells get more oxygen and nutrients. This contributes to faster tissue healing and pain reduction.

FIR

Icon of long waves representing far-infrared (FIR) radiation.

FIR or Far Infrared covers rays with a wavelength of 3,000 nm – 1 mm. These rays penetrate deepest and stimulate the sweat glands, which helps to better eliminate toxins.

This type of IR light increases heart rate and accelerates metabolism, which is also reflected in faster calorie consumption.

Full-spectrum infrared heaters

Thanks to the high intensity of full-spectrum technology, a session in an IR sauna can be considerably shorter than with ceramic heaters. With temperatures of up to 65 °C, an infrared sauna is also ideal for anyone who finds the high temperatures of a traditional Finnish sauna too intense.

Infrared light penetrates the body at three different wavelengths: NIR, MIR and FIR.

Combined-power sauna heaters provide effective therapy with infrared light that warms you from the inside out. You start sweating later, but sweating is more effective and continues for longer after the session.

FIRST-CLASS MATERIALS

The sauna is made from first-class materials for a long service life. Its ergonomic design lets you sit comfortably, so you can relax during your session and leave everyday worries behind.

The sauna is made from top-quality pine. The wood is knot-free and heat-treated, so it does not release resin; it is an excellent heat insulator and is light yet sturdy. The tempered glass on the front ensures safe access and use. The stainless steel hinges will not rust and open safely.

Canadian hemlock is considered one of the best woods for saunas. It is very hard and resilient, which makes it highly durable in a sauna, and it has low thermal conductivity, so it does not heat up quickly.
